07 Oct Words of Wisdom
In his book ‘An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth’, author Chris Hadfield shares Space wisdom that applies here on Earth.
Can you imagine going into outer space without a plan for how to adapt? Neither can I. Hadfield helps us with 3 good tips about how that plan should look:
- The plan needs to break down what you are going to do into small, concrete steps
- Physical & psychological adaptation to a new environment (whether on Earth or in Space) isn’t instantaneous. There is always a lag between arriving and feeling comfortable
- Those small, concrete steps will bridge the gap.
Having difficulty adapting to our changing times on Earth? I suppose you could just head to outer Space. Or, stay here on Earth and follow Hadfield’s advice.
If you enjoy reading books, I highly recommend this one. You won’t be disappointed. Cheerios, ~Linda
